The loading bay gate kit is a product developed by Smartscaff to enable a loading bay to quickly be adapted to load and retrieve equipment without a live edge present for a worker to fall. The gate kit pivots effortlessly enabling the handrail to be temporarily removed for goods to be delivered into the loading bay, whilst blocking out workers from accessing it. Once lowered, the goods can be accessed and the handrail to the live edge is returned to its neutral position.
